2. Around Huelva Train Station

Very close to the city centre, less than 10 minutes walk, lies Huelva’s main train station.

This railway station opened in 2018 and offers long-distance train connections with Madrid, Extremadura and Talavera de la Reina, as well as regional connections to Seville.

The station is next to the city’s main bus terminal, from which you can reach the towns of Costa de la Luz.

The oldest area in Punta Umbría is located at its southern end and includes some houses built by the British mining company RioTinto in the 19th century for its employees who extracted copper and other minerals in the north of the province.
