Mendoza is considered the “International Capital of Argentinean Wine” and it is one of the main wine-producing areas in the world.

Mendoza is one of the most visited cities in Argentina, largely due to its proximity to the mountains and natural parks of the Andes, but above all because of its reputation as the national wine capital.

Its architecture is influenced by its great influx of Spanish, Italian, Jewish, Arab, and German immigrants.

Mendoza also has a very varied cultural offer and vibrant nightlife, driven largely by its large university population.

Among its most important cultural attractions are the Municipal Museum of Modern Art, the Contemporary Art Space, the Museum of Natural and Anthropological Sciences, or the city’s cemetery.
